WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY - "COMBAT PLASTIC POLLUTION! "

The United Nations has designated June 5 as World Environment Day. The theme of this year 2018 is the fight against plastic .

Our NGO MSS have today organized various actions to sensitize communities to urgently reduce the production and excessive use of single-use plastics.

Harvard President Drew Faust's report to alumni (2011)

GLOBALIZATION was also a theme in President Drew Faust’s address. Both speakers noted the changes that swept the Middle East this year in the Arab Spring.

Harvard’s student body is increasingly international—20 percent, Faust said. She noted the “intensity” of undergraduates’ interest in foreign languages: “They understand the kind of world they will live in, and they want to be prepared.” She mentioned numerous University international initiatives, and pointed out that she  has visited five continents during her presidency.

पार्क में यह पेड़ (झाड़) देख् 

बचपन के वो दिन, ना जाने कैसे, मुझे आज याद आ गए? हम गांव रह रहे थे सामणी काटने के बाद खेत उजाड़ हो चले थे मैं कोई 10-11 वर्ष की रही होंगी फिर स्कूल से छुट्टी होंने पर हम पास के टिब्बों के खेतों में निक़ल जाते और डोलों(fencing of the farms,Divider between fields ) पर लगी ढेरों झाड़ बेरियों पर से बेर तोड़ कर लाते और उन्हें कोरी कुल्हडियों( टेरा कोट्टा)  में भर लेते! टिब्बे  घर के इतनी पास भी न थे ! पर टिब्बे ओर छोटी-छोटी पहाड़ीयों पर उगे बेरी के झाड़ मानो हमें बुलाते थे !

उन पर लगी लाल पीली बेरियां हमें सपने में भी मानो आवाज़ लगातीं ! रास्ते भर हम तरह- तरह की बातें करते रहते ! “बेरी खाने से दिमाग़ तेज़ हो जाता है ! जब मेरे चाचा ताऊ के बच्चे और पड़ोस के बच्चे मिल कर खूब सारे बेर ले आते तो मेरे दादा कहते आज तो बड़ा काम करया भाई !आज तो दाड़ा (To get something free of cost) मार ल्याए।मेरे दादा ने कहा है कि अगर बेरी खाओगे तो पढ़ाई में तुम्हारे खूब अच्छे नंबर आयेंगे !” गोया बेरी ना हो गई अमर फल हो गई ! पर सच्ची बात तो ये थी कि बिना पैसे के ये फल अमर फल से कम नहीं थे ! ना कोई डाँटने वाला, ना कोई भगाने वाला ! बेरी तोड़ते तोड़ते कितने ही काँटे पैरों में घुस जाते ! कितने ही हाथों को बींध देते ! पर हाय रे बेरी का लालच !

वो कतई कम नहीं होता ! अब कहाँ वह् बेरियाँ और  फिर इन्हें काट कर बाड़ बना ली जाती और होली के दिनों में बच्चे यह बेरी के ढिक्खर फाड़-फाड़ कर गांव के फलसे(The outer area of a village) में बड़ी सारी होली बना देते अब कहाँ बाड़( The thorny fence ,made-up with agriwasre and specialy of )

 
और कहाँ वो  ढिक्खर  !???????
