सिल्क की टाई को बार-बार एक ही तरह से न बांधें। इस्तेमाल के बाद उन्हें सीधा करके आराम दें।

धुलाई के आसान नियम: 

नाजुक कपड़ों को गर्म पानी में धोने से बचें क्योंकि इससे वे कड़े हो जाते हैं। सफेद कपड़ों की चमक के लिए आखिरी बार खंगालते समय नील का इस्तेमाल करें।

दाग-धब्बे हटाना: 

यदि कपड़ों पर पसीने के जिद्दी दाग लग जाएं, तो उस हिस्से पर बोरेक्स पाउडर (Borax powder) छिड़ककर ऊपर से गर्म पानी डालने से दाग साफ हो जाते हैं।

खुशबू और ताजगी: 

कपड़ों को फ्रेश रखने के लिए अलमारी में लैवेंडर बैग्स (Lavender bags) का इस्तेमाल करें।
